The season finale of Big Brother 6 aired last night, and it was rather anti-climatic. With two members of the "Nerd Herd" as the final two, I was rather apathetic as to who would win. As it was, I scarcely watched any of the live feed once Janelle was voted out, though I hardly had time to watch as it was. But still, watching a 24/7 feed of Ivette and Maggie isn't my idea of a good time.
It was fun to hear Eric the Firefighter (aka Cappy, Napoleon Eric, "the asshole from BB6", etc.) get booed when he tried to make a smug, sanctimoneous point about Kaysar. Eric was a self-righteous prick right down to the end. What a loser. At least he's loathed by millions now. A fan of the show who's a friend of mine commented that they wanted to go to Vegas and be at the scene of a fire just to see him come out... so they could make fun of him. Now that's making an impression.
Tonight is the season premiere of Lost (hell yeah) and the debut of The Apprentice: Martha Stewart. I'm not sure how it'll play having two Apprentices going at once (the Donald Trump version debuts on Thursday). It may get confusing with them having two separate casts at once. But we'll see.
Hurricane Rita has turned into a Category Five hurricane. This is not good. Yesterday it was windy here in Tampa, presumably an effect of the storm, and it was located all the way down at the southern tip of Florida...
