Happy Halloween to one and all. I'm not sure if people trick-or-treat in my apartment complex, though nowhere that I've lived since going to college has had trick-or-treaters. Kids don't usually hit up apartments, I suppose. Not that I was there to give out candy, since I drove up to Nashville tonight...
I've discovered a really fun music service called Pandora. It works like most any streaming music setup might, but with 128 kbps quality... and an uncanny ability to match on-target music with similar bands. I put in "Counting Crows" for the target band, and the music has been incredible, much of which has come from artists that I've never heard of before. Plus, Pandora is free, and for now it's ad-free. Ads will come later (there's a premium version you can pay for), but since it's new, it is presently without commercial interruption. It's worth a look if you're in the United States (it's not available outside the US... yet.)
Tomorrow I hit the road from Nashville to Myrtle Beach for a work conference/trade show. Don't get too excited for me; the high on Friday in Myrtle Beach is projected to be 59 degrees. On the upside, I believe the place we're staying is a resort, so that should be nice. Of course, I'll fill in the details about the trip on the flip side...
