"I look back to find my way
Reminisce and laugh about the good old days..."
-Everclear "When It All Goes Wrong Again"
The clock is working against me at this point. Must be brief.
Had a fantastic dinner last night at Maggiano's, a tremendous Italian restaurant at Westshore in south Tampa. Met up with Len Clark and Ryan Priest, neither of whom I'd seen in nearly three years. Yes, time flies by. Caught up on old times and people we once knew and classic stories. Very nice.
Unfortunately for me, we didn't leave Maggiano's until 9:30, so I didn't have time to double back to the apartment to get the Coldplay CD that Carli let me borrow. Oops.
30 dollars for 30 pills -- the price we pay for happiness. No generics for the newly approved (and I'm not talking group lives at one past the hour).
Yankees lost last night to Anaheim. Tough one. Critical Game 3 tomorrow night.
I fly out for Nashville tomorrow morning, but not before a big meeting at Channel 10. Should be interesting. The weekend will be great. Monday's off so it won't be quite so rushed.
My comments about the ABC Family Channel didn't go unnoticed. My cousin Isaac Gamble astutely pointed out that they carry reruns of Whose Line Is It Anyway?, which is a funny show. Maybe I should try it more than once a year.
Time's up and sleep is calling.
