On top of everything else in the BTLS world, now I've got to try and play accountant. Which I don't mind doing, but on top of everything else, it'll be a challenge.
We officially announced today that Bubba The Love SpongeŽ won't be coming back to terrestrial (i.e. over-the-air) radio, at least in the next couple of years. With the FCC on a runaway power trip train, it's just not feasible for us. Not with satellite radio as such a strong up-and-coming force in radio, combined with the potential of internet radio. Not that we'll end up with both; odds are a satellite company would want us exclusively (thus the appeal to draw in sign-ups). Bubba isn't moving anywhere, so we'll build a studio here in Tampa. This should be alot of fun to see play out.
Thanks to Ryan Priest for this one... Here's why you never want to give the public unfettered access to adding business closing information to your TV news ticker. This one was my favorite, though it's worth checking out the entire listing...
