It's almost here... my first-ever trip to California. I'm excited about it, though I know the trip there will be lengthy, even by air. But it'll be worth it.
Tomorrow should be interesting before I skip town, as Bubba The Love Sponge will hold a live video feed on BubbaArmy.com where he answers questions and addresses the public for the first time since Clear Channel fired him. Should be very interesting...
I can't believe it, but I'm hooked on Fox's Forever Eden. It's a fun show. Without the DVR it might be too much with the flash forwards (and the commercials), but I really like it.
Last night I finally watched the great movie Groundhog Day. It's very unique in its approach, but the payoff is great and the presentation is outstanding. Though, in watching the movie in 2004, it sure made 1993 feel like alot longer ago than it really was. You know how it is when you watch shows from the 80s and you just know it was from that era? Well, it was the same deal here.
How's this for a bidding war: The Seattle Seahawks signed St. Louis free agent DE Grant Wistrom to a contract this week, a deal which included a $14 million signing bonus. To put it in perspective, the Rams offered Winstrom $16.5 million total over five years to stay. These things happen in the NFL...
