Some days even I'm not in the mood to write, and this is one of those days. Of course, the fact that I spent the past hour and a half working on my NFL mock draft might have something to do with that. But I need to post something, since I missed yesterday.
In my fantasy football league, it's going to be very interesting to see who gets stolen away in next month's free agent pickup (where the two non-playoff teams get to select one player each from a pool of "non-protected" players). There will be a pretty good talent level out there, possibly better than what we've seen in years past. I think that the Liberty Boom will probably lose one of its 2002 rookie QBs (David Carr or Joey Harrington). But we'll see what kind of trades go down between now and April 28 (the free agent pickup day).
College basketball excitement is getting strong, as the first of the conference tournaments are wrapping up. This is an exciting time of year for sports fans.
New Orleans is coming next weekend, and I can't wait. Me, Brook, Bob & Nimesh will tear up the Big Easy. And if Josh comes along, it will be even crazier. Should be a blast.
Well it's time now to get ready and see what Ybor has to offer on a Saturday night...
