Right now promo packages are heading all across the country, from Honolulu to New Jersey. It's almost enough to make your head spin. Almost. I'm looking forward to seeing the response.
The family of Lyndon B. Johnson is exiting the radio business, 60 years after Lady Bird Johnson first bought an AM station in Austin, TX. Smaller ownership groups are becoming fewer and fewer in-between.
I will never ever ever ever understand women. Goddamn enigmas, one and all.
The trip to New Orleans the weekend after next is sneaking up on me. It should be a great time. Brook, Bob, Nimesh, Josh (?) and me. As Brian Bossler once said: "It's so easy in the big easy." Though I think that we'll have a gentleman's rule prohibiting trading after a certain hour (lest we have a few alcohol-influenced trades).
The Counting Crows show scheduled for Tampa later this month has been postponed due to lead singer Adam Duritz having voice exhaustion. Damn.
