"Get action. Seize the moment. Man was never intended to become an oyster."
-Theodore Roosevelt

It's been a fun weekend for watching basketball. Florida just lost to Michigan State (hahaha). And since Butler broke my heart by beating Mississippi State in the first round, I was glad to see them knock off Louisville today. I enjoy watching the mid-major cinderellas make a run in the tourney.

Speaking of that Butler/Louisville game, it had some unbelievable intensity. Back and forth 3-pointers, hard play, and it was overall a really fun game to watch.

The war coverage on TV has been fascinating. It's amazing to me that they can have reporters live via videophone from the field. Simply amazing. Contrast that with times when I had crews at WTSP who were unable to get a live shot out of Tampa. But I digress...

I don't envy the men and women working at reporters over in the Middle East. Sure, it's a boost to their résumé, and it's some invaluable experience... but wow, what a dangerous and difficult assignment.
