Planning The Party

Thursday
March 28, 2002

"We're caught in a trap
I can't walk out"
-Elvis Presley "Suspicious Minds"

The big party at Bar Tampa is set for tomorrow night (Friday 3/29). Should be a fun time. It will be interesting to see who all comes out for it. Hopefully some of the crew from Channel 10 who I never get to hang out with will make the trip.

I've been busy this week looking up music for something new we're doing on my morning show. It'll be fun to see how it turns out.

On the flip-side, this week at work has really drained me. The less I say on the matter, the better. It makes me look forward to the Mississippi trip all the more for next weekend.

I have Survivor on in the other room right now as I type this. For some reason, I've had a really tough time trying to get into this season. The show is still amazing well-edited and well-produced... but maybe it was just a bit too soon for a new season to start. At least for me.

The new NFL schedule came out today. This year Channel 10 gets the two Bucs road games vs. AFC opponents (at Baltimore and at Cincinnati). Last year we did a live show (in the rain, I might add) after the Tampa Bay/Pittsburgh game, which I worked on as a field producer. It was a fun experience, but I'm not sure what (if anything) we'll be doing this year following the two road games.
