Feeling A1

Lisa: "Only one person in a million would find that funny."
Professor Frink: "Yes, we call that the Dennis Miller ratio."
-From The Simpsons

It was pointed out to me that some of the inside jokes in the titles and sub-headers for certain columns on here would only be understood/found funny by "One four-billionth of the world". Perhaps that's a bit of an exaggeration, but hearing that made me laugh. Too true.

Scott Massey and I played an overtime Instant Classic in NCAA Football 2003. He was home as Virginia Tech, a team that always seems to have my number, and I was Georgia. He won 41-38 in overtime thanks to a Lee Suggs TD run (after I decided to kick a field goal with my OT possession). What made this game remarkable were the THREE consecutive kickoffs returned for touchdowns (two by me with Georgia WR Fred Gibson, with one by Scott with Virginia Tech CB Ronyell Whitaker in the middle). Plus my last second FG to send it to OT was nice (following a Lee Suggs fumble on the 2 yard line that would've put Scott up 10 and sealed it late in the fourth quarter). If EA Sports can improve in major ways on NCAA '03 with this year's game, I'll be surprised...
