"If you're going to go to a bar and not drink, you might as well go to McDonald's, okay?"
-Josh Tenisci, on the phone tonight
The party last night at the Hyde Park Cafe was a great time. Interesting to interact with people from the station outside of the work environment. Jeff Berardelli invited an interesting mix of people. Rod Baker advised me that he didn't like the new Red Hot Chili Peppers CD, which is the first negative thing I've heard about it.
Broke out the PlayStation 1 early this morning and played some Fire Pro G. That game is really fun. Plus, my PSX doesn't give me the business about "disc read error". Which goes a long way... But by the same token, playing a game on the PSX makes me appreciate how strong the graphics are on the PS2. My friend Scott Massey was impressed enough with the Final Fantasy X graphics on Friday night that he said he'd consider buying the game on that alone.
The FFL draft is tomorrow. Should be interesting to see how it turns out. I've been preparing for it for months, and I should be ready. But you never know what to expect. As for the league's online presence, I've redesigned the team pages so that they're a bit more compact and easy to read...
