I had Jeopardy! on TV last night as I fixed dinner, and I thought to myself, "Wow, I actually know some of these questions for once." Then I realized it was a children's episode. That put me back in my place real fast.
A three day weekend begins tomorrow morning. And with nothing big planned, it's wide open. I'm sure there will be some fun things to track down, though. A little partying, a little PlayStation 2, even some work on the webpage here (trying to retrofit some of the older pages with Amazon.com ad info). Still deliberating between the 120 point ads and the 160 point (leaning toward 160 since those show more prices and have more pictures to encourage people to find out more). I know most people despise ads, like my friend Neal from work. But the way I see it, it's over there on the side. No dispicible pop-up ads (the bane of internet users everywhere). And if it's something you want and are interested in anyway, why not go via a site you enjoy and help throw them a bone while you're at it?
I like the way the NFL is trying spin control with the pass interference missed call in the 49ers/Giants game. Of course, all the talk in the world can't undo it. Sorry Giants fans (Bob Lonergan included).
