Consider This

Sunday

Thanks to my friends Riley & Todd for checking out the website. They were telling me last night that they come to loupickney.com about once a week. Riley's wanting me to show him how to set up his own site... It's very easy to do. At least I think it is.

Miami Hurricanes RB Willis McGahee tore three ligaments in his knee in the Fiesta Bowl. Damn. You don't know how much I hate that. He was an electrifying runner to watch, and his success in 2002 had a real storybook feel to it. Remember, he played fullback on the 2001 national title team. If he had been healthy in OT, I think Miami would've beaten Ohio State.

My friend Mark Pellerito received recognition for his great video for Fox 17 of a botched onsides kick call in the Titans 2002 season opener. Good for him -- he's the best sports photog I've ever worked with, and it's nice to see him get that kind of recognition.

How about the Falcons inexplicably beating the Packers 27-7 in Green Bay? Oh that crazy NFL. Michael Vick is for real. Just think if the Falcons can somehow beat the Eagles. It could mean an NFC Championship game in Tampa. Consider that...

As for the NFL games today, wow... Two amazing comebacks. The Pittsburgh win is good news for the Titans, who now get the Steelers instead of the red-hot Jets. Advantage: Tennessee. Bad news for Oakland...

I'm working on adding Amazon.com as an advertising partner to the pages here. If you see something you like, buying through them via my site helps me out. Which is always appreciated. Time now to head in to work...
