Curveball Hitter

No dice on the Buccaneers playoff tickets. The Ticketmaster website became impossibly locked up, and my attempts to get through on the home and cell phone (respectively) failed as well. Such is life.

Everyone seems to be jumping on the Jets bandwagon in the AFC. Which is good, since I like to see Chad Pennington do well. But don't overlook the Colts. Dwight Freeney is a major force from the DE spot, and Mike Peterson is back from injury. What remains to be seen, though, is how well the Colts' cornerbacks can cover Laverneaus Coles...

I can't wait for the Packers/Falcons game on Saturday night. Cold and snow and nighttime playoff football in Green Bay. Michael Vick vs. Brett Favre in prime time. I love it.

There's lots of behind-the-scenes fun I'd like to discuss on here, but won't. Better times are on the horizon, though.

There's something gratifying about depositing a check in the bank that has "first place" in the memo line. As if it deserves more of an explanation: "Well Miss Bank Teller, I was the best in my NFL pick'em league, and when Tampa Bay beat Chicago on Sunday night, I clinched the win".

WWE Smackdown continues to be very fun. Even a season as Billy Kidman is enjoyable (despite his low status in the game). A fun way to pass the time...
