No time to type (it'll take a few days to give New Orleans 2K4 its proper treatment, and I'm one busy guy now that I'm back in Tampa)... But here's a little teaser to keep you occupied in the interim.
A few notes before I get to the Big Easy Tease... It's worth noting that the spray-on fake tan that I had at Malibu Rayz on Friday worked amazingly well. Defnite good times on that. Amazing just how having a suntan (or even a fake one) can open doors for you.
Also, I hear that Bubba lambasted me pretty good on the air this morning about taking the time off to make the trip down there. He and I have talked since then and patched things up. But in the meantime this week, I'll be one busy t-shirt shipper.
The brilliant Bill Simmons made a genius observation about hurricanes during his visit to New Orleans two years ago. "Drink one of these and you feel like Larry Merchant. Drink two of these and you feel like Sebastian Janikowski. Drink three of these and ... well, don't drink three of these. Not a good idea. Bad times."
There's me after hurricane #1, hurricane #2... and, yes, hurricane #3 (oh, the stories I could, and probably will, tell). Laissez les bons temps rouler!
