Hang Glider

My one-month run in trying to use Amazon.com as a source of income through the website failed. Lead-based ads are tough. So those are gone from the commentary pages (though I'll have them in limited quanitites around the website in other areas). It's been a surprising quick process in trying to retrofit the pages (including the old pages that never had any of them to begin with that had just blank space on the right side).

It was great seeing my Phi Tau fraternity brother Justin Smith last night over in Kissimmee, FL. He's in town for a two-day seminar, and that's only about 60 miles up the road from here.

We had dinner at a nearby Bennigan's. The grilled chicken caesar salad there is tremendous. And the Killian's Red they have on tap tasted really good. From there we ended up trying to hunt down a club or bar type place. With hotels all up and down the road, it figured to us that there'd be SOMEPLACE with a nightclub type setup. But from what we were told (and what we saw), that's not the case. I guess the town is all Disney-ed up. We could've just gone to Orlando, but he had to get to sleep early to get up in time for the 8 AM seminar this morning.

So we walked down the road a little ways to the Logan's Roadhouse. Drank beer, watched some of the NBA Slam Dunk contest, and caught up on old times. It was fun.

His hotel had this trick faucet in the sink where you couldn't really tell what the water temperature was going to be. Scalding hot, lukewarm, cold... it's like a drag queen episode of Maury -- only without a host excitedly screaming "You Don't Know!" for an hour.

Today has been nice from a time factor. I'm just not used to having this kind of free time. Got in a nice long workout, then worked for awhile on changing the commentary page layout on here. From there I played some PS2 (finally finished my season as Hulk Hogan on SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth), talked on the phone, and was able to enjoy things at a leisurely pace. Yeah... I can get used to this.

From here I think I'll go ahead and finish up the California listings for the radio station database. With that I think we'll be all set with having our targeted stations lined up. Which is a good thing. Until later...
