Time is short, so I'll be brief...

Jason White wins the 2003 Heisman Trophy
Early voting helped Jason White (middle) win the 2003 Heisman Trophy.

-I haven't addressed this on here yet, but Jason White winning the Heisman Trophy is a farce. He played well up until the Kansas State game, but his embarrassing performance in the Big XII Championship should've opened everyone's eyes. Pitt WR Larry Fitzgerald deserved the award in my estimation, but lost because: 1. many ballots were cast before the OU/KSU game, 2. some voters feel compelled to vote for a quarterback, and 3. Fitzgerald is only a sophomore. Not to discount the impressive performance that White had leading up to the Big XII title game, but that is the difference between finalist and winner in my book. But this is the same sport where bowl games decide things and the #1 team in both polls doesn't get to play for the national title. Lovely.

-"Toys For Tits" 8 is this Friday at Déjà Vu in Tampa. Talk about a job perk -- I'll be there to make sure that the video is being shot as we need it for future DVD release. And you wonder why I love my job? Hmmm, hours and hours of some of Tampa's hottest strippers doing all kinds of fun things (while scantily clad), all in the name of charity (listeners will come by and drop off presents/donations). We'll help to make Christmas happier for some Tampa Bay area kids, and at the same time do it in our own unique BTLS show style.

-Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is taping shows in Orlando in the second weekend of January. I just might get up there to go to a taping, though by the looks of it, almost all of the days are already sold out. The only day left is Friday, January 9, 2004. I put in a one person ticket request, trying to get an afternoon session (choosing that with morning session as a second choice). So we'll see how that goes. I've been a game show fan for as long as I can remember, so it would be nice to be in the studio audience for one in person. My friend Brook Gardiner has been in the audience for Millionaire in NYC, and my friend Haggai Elitzur was the lifeline for David Goodman, who won $1 million on the Regis-hosted Millionaire in June 2000 (and at the age of 24 became the youngest TV game show millionaire to date).

-Maybe this won't come true, but I get the feeling that the Bucs/Titans game I'm going to in Nashville in less than two weeks will end up having major playoff implications. We shall see...
