My home computer finally ran out of memory this morning, ending my free run of Big Brother 5. I had tried the free trial deal that they offered, and they (Real.com) told me that my feed would be cut off at the end of the day. However, I never cut off the program, and I found that as long as I kept the computer turned on and didn't exit out of the player screen, it kept me in there on the freebie tip. That was some sweet action.

However, this morning my computer memory finally gave up the ghost. I hated to turn it off, as it was interesting to hear the behind-the-scenes BB5 conversations, but what's done is done.

I caught the "Hollywood Home Game" of the World Poker Tour on the Travel Channel tonight (I DVRed it yesterday). In a hilarious moment, they showed Jack Black in the green room, laughing hysterically that Fred Savage was still in the tournament (Black finished last, in 6th place). They then cut to a shot of a woman captioned as "Jennifer Stone, Fred's Fiancée", who had this surprised/angry look on her face. It was high comedy.

Rainy season here in Tampa has been on in full effect. With the tropical storm that hit the east coast, we received the rain spun-off from that storm. It's made it humid as hell, and flooding has been a problem, but at least it's kept the temps out of the 90s. At least for the short-term.

Ralph Nader has failed to make the Presidential ballot in California, which should make Democrats happy. His fringe campaign attempts do nothing but siphon off votes from the Democratic side, and his presence on the Florida ballot alone in 2000 cost Al Gore the election (though if Howard Stern et al truly believe that President Bush is responsible for the FCC crackdown on broadcasting freedom, just imagine how a Gore/Lieberman administration would've handled that).
