Debate

Monday
August 23, 2004

Tomorrow's a big day for the Bubba For Sheriff campaign. We have a big three-way debate lined up with Bubba posed against Republicans Jim Coats and Tim Glassburner in an event that will be carried live on Bay News 9 (and I imagine on the Pinellas County cable access channel). This is an environment where Bubba should shine.

The trip to Nashville this past weekend was fantastic. I laid low and spent time with my parents and sister, which was fine by me. I didn't feel like going out a bunch or doing a whole lot of partying or anything -- there wasn't much time to spend in town for the trip.

After much, MUCH delay, we're about to get credit card order capability back up on BubbaArmy.com. This has been a real learning experience for me as far as dealing with credit card processing companies and the trials and tribulations of going through that whole process.

I played some of The Sims on my parents' computer this weekend (to create some characters to interact with those that my sister Mary Beth came up with), and that got me hooked on playing it again on my computer. That game comes and goes for me, but when I'm into it it's addictive as crack. And from what I hear, The Sims 2 (which comes out next month) will take things to a whole new level...
