Forty-eight hours from right now, I should be in the middle of a Thursday night of fun and adventure in Las Vegas, Nevada. My debut in that desert city should be a most interesting time. The universal response that I've received has been that I should expect a wild, crazy time filled with fun and adventure.

There's a certain fear in my head that I shouldn't get my hopes up and potentially be disappointed. But this has been overwhelming. The only thing remotely negative, besides the potential for losing my cash at the slots, is "be careful". Of course, I've also been given directives (by female friends of mine, no less) to have plenty of wild, scandalous stories to tell upon my return. Scandalous! Yeah, I think I'm going to like Vegas. Tonight I watched Casino and Go to start building up the anticipation for the big trip...
Looks like "Macho Man" Randy Savage is now getting punked out by his own website. His webmaster threw up a note of support for Bubba The Love Sponge and blasted Randy and
Big3 Entertainment for failing to pay for his services. (Insert your own Nubain joke here.)
Credit goes to Jeff Riley and Ryan Priest for bringing up the "Madden football cover curse" issue to me independently. Riley noted it first, commenting on the trend when news of Vick's injury first came out on Saturday night. Then Ryan e-mailed me this story, which added the Eddie George year (which Riley and I couldn't remember at the time of our conversation).
